Italian

£2.50 per 100g

Our darkest roast blend for that typical Italian espresso experience. A traditional Italian style blend of 70% Arabica and 30% Robusta beans from South America, and India.

Columbian Supremo Robusta beans from Bucaramanga, award winning Mina Gerais Brazilian Robusta and Bibbi plantation Indian cherry Robusta from Sunticoppa are blended with Costa Rican Arabica from the high mountain Central Valley region.

This is a dark espresso with almost no bitter notes. It has the kick you expect from a good Italian coffee but with lots of other subtleties – toffee and caramel chocolate notes linger in your mouth afterwards. It makes good long black and white coffees but excels as an espresso shot with its deep oily crema in my opinion.

Come along and taste it and make up your own mind. Rich and full flavoured this is a blend which shines in different ways with different grinds but always satisfies.

Costa Rica

£2.50 per 100g

Lightly roasted using a single origin Arabica from Central Valley of Costa Rica these “Yellow Honey process” beans make an unusual almost fruity coffee yet with great smoothness and low acidity.

The “honey” process was developed in Costa Rica to conserve local water supplies. It uses a mechanical mill to remove the fruit from the beans before sun drying them prior to roasting.

Great for Cappuccino and Latte and other long coffees, these beans will make a genuine all-day drinking coffee.

Use a medium grind for your French Press (Cafetiere) or drip filter or other pour over brewing equipment for consistently great coffees with warm, fruity and lightly toasted spice notes.

If you have an espresso machine, we also recommend trying a fine grind of these beans. Whilst not the taste most people tend to associate with espresso shot these beans make a wonderful espresso in our opinion.

Brazil
£2.50 per 100g

An all Fair Trade coffee beans blend. A dark roast, (but not too dark)…our Brazilian blend delivers a gourmet after dinner coffee with its 80/20 mix of Arabica and Robusta beans.

Delivering a great espresso as well as longer coffees this blend is a subtler version of our Italian coffee.  The reduction in the quantity of Robusta beans reduces the kick and the extra Arabica mellows it out, providing a smooth deep bodied coffee.

A sweet coffee with notes of caramel in both espresso and cafetiere grinds.

The Indian Robusta of our Italian Blend are replaced by a combination of best Washed Zambian Robusta beans from the Muchinga mountains, Mina Gerais Brazil Robusta and Colombian supremo Bucaramanga Robusta. The blend is finished with genuine Arabica Costa Rican Central Valley high mountain beans.

This is a really great coffee, delivering all day in your cafetiere and even after dinner as espresso.

Sumatra

£2.50 per 100g

A 100% Arabica coffee. This blend consists mostly of Sumatran Blue Lingtong beans, a high altitude favourite amongst coffee lovers, well known for the complex mix of flavours it offers depending on how it is ground and brewed.

Our blend combines the Blue Lingtong with two other Arabica beans from the region and offers a subtle coffee but with a big deep body.

This blend makes a good espresso shot when finely ground, that you can safely make up into flat whites or other milky drinks and still get those great coffee flavours you are looking for. Chocolate and fruit notes amongst them.

For those who prefer their coffee unadulterated, this blend makes a clean and thoroughly pleasant espresso and longer black coffee for all day drinking as they say.

Try a medium grind for pour over equipment such as cafetieres and French presses for a light easy drinking brew.
